A group of Sky Soldiers who served in the Global War on Terror will be participating in a 26.2 mile Tough Ruck on April 15, 2016.
The event is sponsored by Military Friends Foundation and held in partnership with the Boston Athletic Association, the National Park Service and the Old Manse.
The event will begin and end in Concord, MA. The Sky Soldiers will carry the 173rd flag the entire 26.2 miles in honor and memory of all Sky Soldiers who have given their last full measure for our nation.
Additionally, the purpose of these men participating in the Tough Ruck is to reconnect battle buddies in an effort to help prevent suicides.
All funds donated to this effort will be earmarked to the 173rd Airborne Brigade Association Foundation’s Wounded Warrior fund.
